Privacy notice

This notice explains how ESJ Software Ltd (“we”, “us”) uses personal data collected through this website, iprepclass.com. It does not cover the iPrepClass platform that schools use: there, each school is the data controller for its pupils’, parents’ and staff data, and the school’s own privacy notice applies.

What we collect and why

We do not use this website to collect data about children. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The only cookie it sets records your language when you choose one. See our cookie notice.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the website and our email for us, under contracts that require them to protect it: our website hosting provider, SurveyNode, which runs our contact form, and our email provider. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law provides, such as adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
Demo requests and enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any discussion that follows. If your school becomes a customer, the contract and its own terms take over. Hosting logs are kept only briefly for security.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to object to our using it. Email hello@iprepclass.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have used your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection regulator in your own country, such as the Information Regulator in South Africa or the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Changes
We will update this notice when how we use personal data changes, and change the date at the top.
