Teacher-led. AI-assisted. Never the other way round.
Technology doesn’t improve education. Better teaching does. iPrepClass uses AI to give teachers time back, with every decision left to them.
Teachers release, AI drafts
AI drafts lessons, questions and marks. A teacher checks and approves everything before a pupil sees it.
Labelled and logged
AI output is labelled, and every changed mark is in the access log.
Switch it off
Choose AI or teacher marking per school or per assignment. With AI off, no pupil work is sent to a model.
Marked by the morning. Released by the teacher.
Pupils answer online. iPrepClass marks against the board’s mark scheme overnight, and the teacher checks, adjusts and releases.
- Teacher in control. Pupils and parents see nothing until it is released.
- Prefer to mark yourself? Turn AI off and mark on screen. No AI involved.

What teacher-led means in practice.
A teacher sees it first
AI marks, feedback and drafts wait for a teacher. Pupils and parents see nothing until it is released.
Your school decides
Choose AI or teacher marking for the whole school or for each assignment, and change your mind at any time.
No AI, no data sent
With teacher marking, no pupil work is sent to an AI model.
Clearly labelled
Anything AI has drafted is labelled as such, so teachers always know what they are checking.
Logged
Every changed mark is recorded in the access log.
Built to the DfE standards
Built to the UK Department for Education’s Generative AI product safety standards.
AI and marking
Do we have to use AI marking?
No. Each school, or each assignment, chooses AI or teacher marking. With teacher marking, no pupil work is sent to an AI model.
Can pupils see AI marks straight away?
No. Nothing reaches a pupil or parent until a teacher has checked it and released it.
